You may remember me posting a long time ago about an unlaunched site called Change Advertising Forever. The premise of the site was based around user-created advertising. Creative users submit video, flash, and perhaps still advertisements, and promote them to their peers. Those that are chosen by the advertiser and those that are chosen by the community will earn their creators money, up to $50,000. Prize amounts for individual projects are excellent, with a 5-second audio clip potentially earning the creator $750.

Now, the company has changed name and made a ton of improvements, and launched GeniusRocket.com. GeniusRocket is a revolutionary way for anyone with any sort of artistic talent to make a ton of money. The process is easy.

They save you the hassle of finding creative work by bringing the work to you. GeniusRocket has many opportunities open, ranging from 5-second audio clips to 3-minute promo videos. Undoubtedly the list will grow as time goes on and successful clients spread the word.

Once you’ve found the Current Assignment you want to work on, you simply click the “Launch” button to the right of the task’s description. From here, GeniusRocket gives you the choice to work alone or to create a working team. Many will probably choose to work alone or with previous friends, but the networking system on the site can be an invaluable tool. To help you find other members to collaborate with on your project, GeniusRocket allows you to post a Help Wanted Ad or search the Creator Directory. Here you can find many people with varying skillsets in all forms of art, design, and cinematography to complement your own.

Once finished with a project, you simply submit it to the directory. When the deadline is up, other users can vote on your video, picture, or audio. The one with the most votes will receive a prize, as well as those that fall into certain categories such as “funniest.”

Everyone has a shot at earning money from an advertising client or by winning the community prizes, called “Rocket Awards.” For the aspiring artists out there, GeniusRocket is a great way to meet creative collaborators and get noticed by industry pros.

Metacafe Logo

Thousands of videos are posted on video sites such as Google Videos and Youtube each day. Even though a video may receive millions of views and fans and draw tens of thousands of dollars of ad revenue for the host site, the creator of the video never sees a penny. Now you can get paid a portion of the money earned with your video, with MetaCafé Producer Rewards.

If your video has what it takes to entertain people, MetaCafe want to license it and pay you for every view. Every time someone watches your video on their site, you earn money. They pay $5 for every thousand views your video gets, starting as soon as it has been uploaded.

Metacafe Rewards

There is no approval need other than the video having to be your own work, and non-adult content. Payment starts after your video reaches 20,000 views and has a rating of 3.00 or higher. You don’t have to worry about losing the rights to your video, you still exclusively own the content as your own. You can gain audience since MetaCafe (which gets millions of viewers each day) promote and host your video.

My one gripe with the producer rewards program is that you must have 20,000 views before they pay you anything. This means that even if you get 18,000, the potential $90 that the video has earned you is kept by MetaCafe. Still, with hosting quality as good as any other mainstream video streaming site, what have you got to lose?

You can read more and submit videos at http://www.metacafe.com/producer_rewards/

There are plenty of websites and blogs, including this one, which tell you of ways to make money online. The thing about this is that with so many posts, pages, and archives, it is often difficult to go through and find a clear, concise list of all of the sites/services that will pay you online. That’s why EarnOverTheWeb is introducing a new page called the EarnOverTheWeb Money Portal.

The portal is a collection, organized by category, of critical information about each site (including description, cost, age limit, payout, and rating) as well as links to EarnOverTheWeb’s reviews/exposés and the signup page for each site. Hopefully this will serve as a great way for people to find out about new opportunities without too much reading. Right now a lot of the info and sites are missing, but it will hopefully be complete tomorrow or the day after.

You can find the beta version of the portal at http://www.earnovertheweb.com/portal

The Portal is currently under construction, I would really appreciate some feedback and/or suggestions.

change ad forever logoJust today I discovered a site called “Change Advertising Forever” (link). The premise of the site is based around user-created advertising. Creative users submit video, flash, and perhaps still advertisements, and promote them to their peers. Those that are chosen by the advertiser and those that are chosen by the community will earn their creators money, up to $50,000. They have not opened up yet, but there is a signup field for name and email, presumably they will send a bulletin once their service has debuted. According to the site:

  • Paying advertisers post “Requests for Brilliance” on our site, seeking YOUR creative talents in a variety of advertising media.
  • Feeling inspired, YOU choose to respond.
  • YOU create an ad on your own— or by collaborating with other members of our community.
  • YOU submit your ad and promote it among your peers.
  • If your ad is selected by either the advertiser or the community,
  • YOU can earn as much as $50,000
